The puppy must be taken to a veterinarian, who may be of purchaser’s choice, within 2 business days of delivery, or this contract becomes null and void. This is for the protection of all parties involved.
If the puppy is found to be in unacceptable health by a licensed veterinarian, the Purchaser shall elect to keep the puppy or return the puppy to the Breeder. If the Purchaser elects to return the puppy, a written statement of diagnosis, including a detailed description of all symptoms supporting that diagnosis, results of any tests performed, and the reason why he/she feels the dog is not in good health, must be presented at the time the puppy is returned. The puppy must be returned to the Breeder along with the registration paperwork within 72 hours of the purchase date. No replacement puppy will be given if the puppy has been injured or neglected. I reserve the right to have my veterinarian review your veterinarian’s findings before any puppy is replaced. The puppy will not be replaced if it should die from conditions resulting from abuse, neglect, or accident.
All items covered under this guarantee are by replacement only. We do not give refunds. The replacement puppy will be of the same value and gender of the puppy being replaced.
Breeder must be informed immediately of the examinations results by e-mail or in person. If buyer fails to do so, it will result in the cancellation of this guarantee.
The Breeder is not responsible for any veterinary cost incurred by the puppy, or for any transportation cost incurred in replacing the puppy.
Purchaser’s Responsibilities: Provide the puppy with routine preventative care, such as but not limited to:
Annual physical examinations by a licensed veterinarian Give all immunizations Puppy is to be put on heart worm preventative at the appropriate age, and it must be given monthly thereafter as prescribed. If illness occurs, the puppy is to receive immediate veterinary care and all prescribed treatment is to be followed. Proof will be required, so keep all records and receipts.
The puppy is guaranteed until 12 months of age against fatal and life altering congenital diseases and must be diagnosed by two unassociated veterinarians if such occurrence should happen within this time frame. Breeder must be notified at once at the onset of the problem, in writing, with a report from both veterinarians. The two reports must state the same problem. The Breeders veterinarian will interpret the reports and if he concurs, a replacement puppy will be given. The replacement puppy will be of the same value and gender of the puppy that’s being replaced. If the puppy should die within this twelve-month time frame, the Purchaser will pay to have it autopsied to ascertain cause of death. If the cause is congenital, the Breeder will replace the puppy.
The Breeder does not give any guarantee as to the mature weight, coat, and color or show quality of any puppy being sold.
Any returned puppy must be returned to the Breeder in good condition, other than the specified problem, at the Purchaser’s expense. The puppy must be returned as soon as he/he is physically able to travel, and an estimated date of return should be included in the reports of the Purchaser’s veterinarians. Once the said puppy is returned to the breeder along with his/hers registration papers, not until this time will the Purchaser will qualify for a replacement puppy.
There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, for example: hypoglycemia, coccidium, kennel cough, cancer, démodé’ tic mange, scabies, growths, allergies, thyroid dysfunction and other autoimmune disorders that are not covered by this guarantee.
No refund in part or in full will be given. All items under this guarantee are by replacement only.
This guarantee applies to the original buyer and puppy and is non-transferable to a second party.
It is understood that if the Purchaser cannot keep the puppy for any reason and needs to return him/her, the Breeder will then try to place the animal in a suitable home if necessary. If a suitable home cannot be found, the puppy may stay with the Breeder. All shot/health records, registration, and any other papers pertaining to the puppy will also need to be returned.
The Breeder is not responsible for any veterinary cost incurred for the puppy, or for any transportation cost incurred in returning or replacing the puppy.
This contract supersedes any and all previous agreement, and is null and void if any of the terms and conditions are not fulfilled.
Purchaser agrees that he/she understands this contract fully, and that this contract is under the jurisdiction of the State of Louisiana. This contract contains the entire agreement between Seller and Buyer. No statement, promises, or inducements made by either party not contained in written contract shall be valid or binding. This contract may not be modified or altered.
Buyer has received a copy of this contract. Buyer has read, understands, and accepts the terms of this contract.

Two copies of this contract must be signed and returned, one week before purchase date or this contract becomes null and void.
